Addiction Therapy
You don’t have to keep fighting the same battle alone.
Addiction often begins as a way to cope with pain, overwhelm, or experiences that feel too difficult to carry alone. I provide addiction therapy in Santa Monica and online throughout California to help you understand what’s driving the cycle and build a life that no longer depends on it.

What you’re going through.
Addiction can leave you feeling trapped between wanting things to change and wondering why they never seem to.
You may carry guilt about broken promises to yourself, hide parts of your life from the people you love, or feel exhausted by the constant effort of trying to stay in control. Even if you’ve experienced periods of sobriety or success, the underlying struggles may still be waiting beneath the surface.
If any of this feels familiar, you’re not alone—and it doesn’t have to stay this way.
How this work can help.
Recovery isn’t simply about stopping a behavior; it’s about creating a life that no longer requires it as a means of coping. As we work together, you’ll begin to better understand your emotional triggers, develop healthier ways of responding to life’s challenges, and strengthen your relationship with yourself. The patterns that once felt automatic can become more manageable with insight, support, and practice.
Over time, many people experience greater freedom, deeper connection, and a renewed sense of hope.
My approach to addiction therapy.
I don’t see addiction as a personal failure or a lack of willpower.
Instead, I approach it with curiosity, exploring the experiences, emotions, and protective strategies that may have contributed to its development. Drawing from approaches including Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and Post Induction Therapy (PIT), I tailor our work to your unique history and goals.
Together, we’ll focus on healing the underlying wounds so meaningful, lasting change can take root.

Who is this for?
This work is for adults who are ready to move beyond simply managing addictive behaviors and begin understanding what fuels them. Some clients come to therapy after years of struggling privately, while others recognize early signs that something isn’t working the way they hoped. You don’t need to have all the answers—or even know exactly where to begin—to benefit from therapy.
If you’re seeking a compassionate, nonjudgmental space to heal and grow, this work may be right for you.
