My Approach
Every person is different, which is why I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches to create a therapy experience tailored to your unique story, goals, and needs.
Real healing begins beneath the surface.
Many of the struggles we experience today are rooted in unresolved experiences, protective patterns, and wounds that deserve understanding rather than judgment. My approach is centered on helping you uncover those deeper layers with compassion, curiosity, and evidence-based care tailored to your unique needs. The modalities below are some of the ways I help clients move beyond survival and toward lasting healing, connection, and freedom.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is based on the idea that we all have different “parts” of ourselves, each trying to protect us in its own way. Rather than fighting those parts, we’ll get curious about them, helping you understand the roles they’ve played and the wounds they’re carrying.
As those parts begin to trust your core Self, lasting healing, greater self-compassion, and meaningful change become possible.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is an evidence-based approach that helps the brain process traumatic memories without requiring you to relive every painful detail. Using guided eye movements and visualization techniques, ART can reduce the emotional intensity of distressing experiences while allowing the memories themselves to remain.
Many people experience meaningful relief in fewer sessions than they expected, making it a powerful option for trauma, anxiety, and other emotionally overwhelming experiences.
Post Induction Therapy (PIT)
Post Induction Therapy (PIT) helps uncover how early childhood experiences continue shaping your relationships, self-worth, and emotional patterns today. Together, we’ll identify the survival strategies that once protected you but may now be keeping you stuck, creating space for healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.
It’s a deeply compassionate approach that helps transform old wounds into greater resilience, authenticity, and connection.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR is a well-researched therapy that helps the brain reprocess traumatic or distressing experiences so they no longer carry the same emotional weight. Through guided bilateral stimulation, we’ll help your nervous system move beyond survival responses and integrate memories in a healthier, more adaptive way.
EMDR can be especially effective for trauma, anxiety, and experiences that continue to feel emotionally present long after they’ve occurred.
