MODALITIES
-
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a therapeutic approach that views the individual mind as a family system made up of different parts. In IFS therapy, we explore and get to know these different parts of your mind, each with its own unique thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. The goal is to help you develop a harmonious relationship with these parts, enabling you to better manage thoughts and emotions, ultimately leading to a more balanced and authentic sense of self. IFS empowers you to become the compassionate and effective leader of your inner world, fostering healing and personal growth.
-
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is a brief and evidence-based psychotherapy approach designed to help individuals rapidly process and alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories and other emotional challenges. During ART sessions, we will use a combination of relaxation techniques and guided imagery to access and reprocess distressing memories. ART aims to rewire the brain's response to these memories, reducing their emotional intensity and allowing you to experience a sense of resolution and relief. It's a client-centered approach that empowers you to regain control over your emotions and reactions, often resulting in quicker and more sustainable emotional healing.
-
Pia Mellody's Post Induction Therapy (PIT) is a therapeutic approach focused on healing the emotional and psychological wounds that result from childhood trauma and dysfunctional family dynamics. PIT recognizes that unresolved past traumas can lead to issues such as addiction, codependency, and emotional struggles in adulthood. In PIT, we work to identify and process these early wounds in a safe and supportive environment, allowing you to understand how they have shaped your life. Through this process, you can develop healthier coping mechanisms and build a stronger sense of self, promoting long-term emotional healing and improved relationships.

The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), developed by Dr. Stephen Porges, is a research-backed auditory intervention designed to improve emotional regulation, social engagement, and nervous system resilience. By using specially filtered music, the SSP helps to calm the autonomic nervous system, reduce stress, and enhance the brain's ability to process social cues. This protocol is particularly beneficial for individuals with trauma, anxiety, and sensory sensitivities, promoting a sense of safety and relaxation. It can be an effective tool in supporting mental health and overall well-being, enabling clients to feel more connected and grounded.
